Another school year has ended and for some of us, the time has come to graduate and move on. This past semester, we had several graduates of the HF/E program. I just want to congratulate all those who’ve graduated and moved on to other things. For most of us, the summer months mean that we can take a break from academic life and maybe enjoy a vacation. In this issue, we’ll provide some information on what the student chapter has achieved and will achieve in the upcoming months, especially leading up to the 50th Annual Meeting of HFES in San Francisco. The summer months are especially important in finalizing the plans for the 50th Annual Meeting of HFES that occurs in the fall.
This past semester, the election for positions in the Executive Council took place. We have new members of the Executive Council and I congratulate them on their new positions and wish them luck on the work ahead of them as they take the student chapter to new heights.
